The nanoFlash from Convergent Design represents a huge leap forward in tapeless workflows. Record direct from an HD-SDI to cheap and easily available CompactFlash cards and record direct to your NLE systems file type. No more transcoding. With variable frame rates at your disposal you can record at 50/100 Mbps (Long GOP) or 100/160 Mbps (I Frame only). As both a recorder and player, nanoFlash sports HD-SDI I/O as well as LTC in, wired remote control and a power/start/tally light connector. The NanoFlash is small enough to mount on your camera, or at least on a belt and will add nothing but versatility to your workflow.
